It sits about two miles below Silver Creek Landing and just downstream of Eagle Rock Rapid, with Brown’s Hole (Class III-) waiting about a mile further on. Kayakers use it as a quick mid-run access point; rafters and drift boaters pass it more often than they stop at it.
It’s a working piece of river infrastructure, not a destination — simple, functional, and easy to miss if you’re not looking for it.

From Highway 126 east of Leaburg, Rennie’s Landing is reached via a spur off the highway on the river’s north side, roughly two miles downstream of Silver Creek Landing exact turn and mile marker. There is no confirmed developed parking area — expect a simple pull-off.

Rennie’s Landing sits inside the same Class II-III reach that runs from Finn Rock down past Silver Creek, with Brown’s Hole (Class III-) roughly a mile downstream and Marten Rapid (Class III) a few miles further, at the approach to Ben & Kay Dorris County Park. Anyone launching or taking out here should be comfortable reading moving water — the current is faster than it looks from the bank, the water stays cold year-round, and there’s no lifeguard on this stretch.
