Small, Cozy, and Worth Slowing Down For
Small, family-run, and unpretentious — Sarver trades King Estate’s grandeur for a cozy tasting room with a charcuterie board and a view that, on a clear day, practically reaches the Cascades. Ask about live music on Friday nights.
Sarver pours estate pinots and bold reds sourced from warmer growing areas, plus beer for anyone in the group who isn’t in a wine mood. The hilltop tasting room and patio look out over vine-covered slopes toward the Three Sisters.

Getting there
Sarver sits about 20 minutes from downtown Eugene, on the same general wine trail as Sweet Cheeks and King Estate — an easy third stop on a full day of tasting.
Stay the night
Sarver’s two-bedroom guest house sleeps up to 6, with a jacuzzi tub, full kitchen, and its own porch overlooking the vineyard — genuinely one of the more unique overnight stays in the area, not just a tasting-room add-on. Book through the winery’s own site or through VRBO/Expedia listings for the property.
Frequently asked questions +
Can I stay overnight at Sarver?
Yes — the winery has a two-bedroom guest house on-site that sleeps up to 6, with a full kitchen and jacuzzi tub. It’s a genuinely unique lodging option, not just a place to sleep off a tasting.
Is there live music?
Yes, on Friday evenings in season, along with food trucks on the patio — check ahead for the current schedule.
What’s the vibe like compared to the bigger wineries nearby?
Cozier and more personal — Sarver is family-run with a small tasting room rather than King Estate’s scale, though the hilltop view rivals any winery in the area.
Do they serve anything besides wine?
Yes — Sarver also pours beer, and offers charcuterie boards to go with your tasting.
When’s the best time to visit?
Late afternoon on a clear day is your best bet for catching the Three Sisters view from the patio; Friday evenings add live music into the mix.
