The largest certified Biodynamic vineyard in North America deserves the word “estate” — 1,033 acres of vineyard, woodland, and culinary gardens with a view that makes the drive worth it before you even taste the wine. One heads-up before you go: this isn’t a spontaneous pull-in-and-taste stop. Reservations are required, so book your table before you leave the house, not after you’re already on Territorial Highway.
King Estate produces pinot noir, pinot gris, and chardonnay from its own biodynamically farmed land, and the estate’s bistro-style restaurant serves gourmet dishes built around produce grown right on the property.
