There’s a paved boat ramp with real trailer parking, a year-round campground with hookups and hot showers, picnic shelters, two dog parks, and a paved nature trail along the bank. For a lot of lower-river trips — floats that started as far up as Hendrick’s Bridge or Hayden Bridge — this is the final take-out.
It doesn’t feel like a boat landing so much as a proper park that happens to have one, which makes it as good a place to end a river day as it is to start one.

Getting there & parking +
From I-5, take exit 199 (Coburg) and follow Coburg Road south for about 2.4 miles; the park entrance is on the right at 90064 Coburg Road, Eugene. The boat ramp and trailer lot are clearly signed once inside the park.

This is the most developed landing in the entire lower-river system — expect crowds on summer weekends, especially around the campground and dog parks.
River conditions & hazards +
The water near the ramp can run shallow and braided, splitting into multiple channels depending on flow — watch for strainers in the side channels especially at lower water. The current picks up as it funnels toward the Willamette confluence a few miles below the park, so paddlers continuing downstream should be alert for changing channel conditions.

Beyond here the McKenzie disappears into the Willamette — Armitage is the last formal landing on the river, and the natural place for a lower-river trip to end.
