Castle Rock Drone Footage in 4k, Blue River, Oregon. Castle Rock overlooks the town of Rainbow, with a nice view of the Mckenzie Valley and the Three Sisters.
King-Castle trailhead is just off E King Rd, east of the cute and historic covered Belknap Bridge. The trail is a gorgeous climb.
Please note that the lower hike is also part of O’Leary Loop Trail and will have some mountain bikers on it. While the O’Leary Loop Trail (Comprised of Ollalie, O’Leary and King-Castle trails) is one of 3 IMBA epic mountain bike rides in Oregon, it still gets fairly low bike traffic as of this posting.
Castle Rock used to be a fire lookout until it burned down in 1974.

Too bad it is gone. Many of the remaining fire lookouts are now available to rent like many other remaining lookouts. Indian Ridge is one remaining local fire lookout that can be rented.
