McKenzie Wooden Boat Festival

The McKenzie Wooden Boat Festival got off to a wet start this morning.  Fortunately the rain cleared and then sun came out around noon.

This festival celebrates the history of the McKenzie River Drift Boat and the large variety of beautiful styles that have been developed over the years. The day starts out with a drift boat parade down to Eagle Rock and the celebration will continue throughout the day along the river with great people. Food and beverages will also be sold.  Admission is free.

If you love fly fishing, drift boats and the river – this is a great way to celebrate the start of the fishing season.

Location: Eagle Rock Lodge

In addition to weddings, this bed and breakfast plays host to wildlife enthusiasts, birding, and those with drift boats.
