McKenzie River Chainsaw Arts Festival

Sadly postponed to 2021 due to Covid

Come see some of the World’s Best Chainsaw Carving Artists design sculptures out of logs! Watch them transform logs into giant bigfoots, bears, eagles, owls, furniture and more! Fun for the entire family!

The McKenzie River Chainsaw Arts Festival features other artisans and crafters as well.

This is a fantastic site to see.  Some of the creations are so impressive you have to see them firsthand.

2019’s Chainsaw Arts Festival featured some great live bands, some local microbrews, cider and Oregon wines. Face painting for the kids and some great food vendors.

This editors favorite was the smoked meats by Chris Parazoo – you got to try his smoked beef brisket or his tri-tip philly cheese steak sandwiches!!  (Chris is scheduled for 2020!!)

Daily Quick Carve Auctions

Art is available for purchase and each day, chainsaw art is actioned to help support the McKenzie River Community Track – often at incredibly low prices!!!

Location

The McKenzie River Chainsaw Arts Festival is held at the McKenzie River Track in Blue River Oregon

You can see some of the cool log art at many local McKenzie River businesses.   McKenzie River Mountain Resort features a few pieces on their property including a couple benches and some carved bears, a huge carved bench sits in from of Meyers Liquor and General Store, Blue Sky Market features a huge Big Foot carving in front of their place.    (McKenzie River Track is thankful for all the support from local businesses for helping with sponsorships and buying artwork.)
