Join us for one of the McKenzie River’s brightest and most magical traditions!
On Sunday, December 6th, boats will be gin launching at 3:30 PM, and should be ready for display by 4pm!
Leaburg Lake will transform into a shimmering holiday stage as beautifully decorated and lit boats glide across the water in a festive, family-friendly parade.
Whether you’re watching from the shore or bundled up on the lake, this twinkling flotilla is guaranteed to spark some holiday joy.
Want to be part of the magic?
We invite community members, families, businesses, and river-lovers of all kinds to participate! Decorate your canoe, kayak, drift boat, raft — even a paddleboard — with lights and holiday flair and join the parade. The more creativity, the better!
Help us light up the river and make this year’s parade the brightest yet.
For participation info or lineup details, simply show up ready to launch before 3:30 PM, ready by 4pm — or reach out to organizers with any questions.
Bundle up, bring your cheer, and we’ll see you on (or by) the water! 🌟🚤
