This short video from Oregon Department of Transportation highlights Crater Lake and the Eagles of south central Oregon

Bird watching enthusiast will definitely want to come to see the large Eagle population in the winter.

In Mid January between Late February is best – that’s when you can see them out flying over the byway.  “It is here that “the greatest number of Eagles in the whole continental United States, spend the winter.”
